AM Practice: Unwind and Nourish the Heart

Thoracic (upper back) and Cervical (neck) twisting for expanded respiratory function, as well as strengthening the heart and core with both support and challenge from our poor: 6′ Pole (or use a broomstick).

Exploring a deeper dimension of breath – innermost layers of the lungs, muscles of the neck, and Nadi Shoddana pranayama with mantra.

HOMEWORK:

Do this practice for times of heavy heart (including dead of Winter/early Spring)
