UDANA Vayu is our energy of spiritual growth, evolution. In this module we continue to focus on intentional practices – answering call to the moment from our body and mind, but with emphasis on growing through the diverse experiences that our life affords and presents us with.
VATA Dosha and VATA balancing practices are discussed. We want to expand in an upward trajectory with Udana, rather than disperse and diffuse our energy (as is characteristic of Vata). Vata’s glorious strength – inspiration – is accessed through asana, and further harnessed to fuel our evolution.
Breath Diagnostics is revisited and practiced as tool for self-assessment AND self-treatment. We are expanding our ability to manage the energy we contain – and use the knowledge we gained for more deliberate practices.
Yoga Nidra is introduced, as a more subtle practice, which will be further expounded on in the next module.
